Match report

Match reports are the views of the author, and not necessarily those of the club.

This was the match that very nearly wasn't in spite of the weather's efforts to cancel it.  But what a difference a week makes!  Last time out 14 wickets lost by Accies - this time only 4 and that made all the difference!

The batting was much more positive this week with Hussain Mohsan leading the way with 19no.  The bowlers then followed this up with some tight spells although still managing to gift 29 wides to the visitors total.  With West only having six players their "best" pair batted a second time but only managed 13 runs from the final five overs for the loss of three wickets to Mohsan, Keeley and McDonald.

This was much more like it and the lads can sleep comfortably tonight.
