Match report

Match reports are the views of the author, and not necessarily those of the club.

A strange and somewhat chaotic game with Stenny telling us in the morning that they had a team of eight and actually playing a team of twelve whilst Accies should have had eight players but Finlay Hall was absent. Subs on, subs off, Stenny pairs batting for wrong number of overs etc, etc.

Notwithstanding all of this the Accie lads stuck to their task, bowled well and then only lost four wickets in their reply.  Down to the last ball and a wicket would have cost the match but skipper Paterson blocked it well.  A win by a mere four runs but another win to keep up the group winning challenge.

Well done again lads.
