Match report

Match reports are the views of the author, and not necessarily those of the club.

Another good performance from the young Accies side running out convincing winners over Poloc. Once again Maheshwari starred behind the stumps taking a lovely one handed catch to remove one of the Poloc openers and then contributing a very easy on the eye 23 not out with the bat. In what was another excellent all round team performance Paterson scored 23 and Shaik 21. With the ball, Anwar produced a career best 3 for 3 and he was well supported by Paterson’s 3 for 6 and Shaik’s 2 for 0. It was pleasing to see that seven bowlers got their name in the wicket taking column, including a first wicket for Hammad and also only 6 extras were conceded by the accurate Accies bowling attack. Next week we are on the road to Stenhousemuir.
