Match report

Match reports are the views of the author, and not necessarily those of the club.

Accies made it three wins out of three with a tense, low scoring win over Clydesdale 2s. Some very fine bowling restricted Clydesdale to a total of 66 all out with a brace of wickets from Safi, Gardee and Gupta. We made heavy weather in our reply but some fine resistance from Safi, Shah and Joseph saw us over the line. Although the scorebook will say we won with nine overs to spare, in reality it was much closer than that, and the Accies youngsters gave a sigh of relief when Western Warriors opening bowler, I Faisal, had bowled his full quota of overs.
