Match report

Sadly last week's effort at preserving wickets intact was not so evident this week. The Poloc bowling was tighter than Renfrew but in the end 7 wickets were lost costing a total of 35 runs. Congrats to Cameron Russell, Ruairidh Keeley and Max Hutcheons for being "not out" at the end of their allotted overs. Only 21 runs came from the bat comparing reasonably favourably with Poloc's effort of 33.

However the bowling let the lads down this week with a total of 70 runs [compared with Poloc's meagre 44] being given away in wides and no balls. Cameron Russell's figures were the pick at 3-1-9-2.

It's off to Weirs for the lad's first "away" match of the season next Friday - the objective for that game is to at least halve the number of runs given away in extras.
