Match report

Perhaps we should play with a man short in future so that our best batsman can have a second knock!!  Not that it would have changed the result but I'm sure 'Dale could have given one of their younger players a second chance.

This was a spirited performance by another very young Accies' side that included debuts for Gautam Kakar and Ross Mcallister [age 8 nearly!] both of whom acquitted themselves admirably. Our lads just didn't have the firepower of Clydesdale's Cairns or Walker, the latter turning out to be the son of a past Accies' junior - happy memories of Colin Walker.

The bowling generally was a bit under par but the batting might have produced a score good enough against other teams and the fielding overall was pretty decent and in some cases excellent.  There's plenty of promise for the future within this group.
