Junior Cup update/U13's v Perth Doo'cot and now U14 Scottish Cup
Posted on Friday 19th July 2019 by Colin Dawson
It has now been confirmed that our U14's are due to play Clydesdale at Titwood this Sunday morning [21 July] with a 10am start.
Yet again I do not have full details but I have been advised that Clydesdale was victorious against our U14's in their Scottish Cup semi-final - aargh!
Clydesdale is our "nemesis" team with their U16's beating ours soundly in the Scottish Cup at the end of last month. One of these days ……!
I am reliably informed that our U13's beat Perth Doo'cot in the semi-final of the ECB Vitality Cup at Goldenacre, Edinburgh this morning -
Perth Doo'cot 58 all out
Glasgow Accies 60 for no wicket
The lads now progress to the final against Clydesdale at 2.30pm this afternoon and an update of this match will be posted here when available. Good luck from everyone at Accies!!
Further update from team manager at Goldenacre on the final in which Clydesdale was the victorious team -
Glasgow Accies 85 for 9
Clydesdale 86 for 4
No further information available at the moment but the website will be updated in due course.
Unfortunately the U15's were well beaten by a competent Carlton team in their ECB Vitality Cup match at New Anniesland last Sunday morning. Admittedly the Accies team was short of three major players due to Warriors etc commitments but that doesn't really explain the result -
Glasgow Accies U15 27 all out which Carlton passed for the loss of two wickets.
Junior training this Sunday - World Cup Final
Posted on Friday 12th July 2019 by Colin Dawson
Unfortunately there are no coaches available this Sunday, 14 July, because of the World Cup Final.
There is no training this Sunday but hopefully back on again w.e.f. Sunday, 21 July.
