Glasgow Accies CC is hosting three European Championship matches in early August and we are asking for assistance from all available Club members.
First up we have Glasgow Accies against Italy in a warm-up match, at New Anniesland on Wednesday 2nd, probably with an 11am start.
With Italy in Division 1 of the ECC Championships this match will feature a white ball and coloured clothing, a first for Accies.
Once the competition gets underway, the 3 international matches are:

Sunday 6th: Italy v Denmark

Tuesday 8th: Scotland v Denmark

Wednesday 9th: Division 2 final.
Assistance is required at the Club ground from 8am onwards on each day. Matches should finish about 6.30pm (assuming they go the distance).
If you can't make it for the whole day please indicate what times you can be available between. Please contact Colin Dawson with availability details. We need to know well in advance so Colin can sort out task teams.
We intend to stage Kwik Cricket matches on each match day during the lunch intervals between 2.15pm and 3pm approximately. Obviously the Scotland v Denmark is "the big one"!
We need as many U11's and U13's as possible to make themselves available to take part on all three days. Please contact Farhaj Siddiqui or Colin in advance with availability.

Friday 4th: Transport of benches from Academy to Accies

Saturday 5th: Free day for Alps XI - many preparatory tasks at Accies

Thursday 10th: Transport of benches from Accies to Academy
We can probably get cover for Friday and Thursday dates but would ask anyone (senior or junior) not selected for Accies or Anniesland League XIs on the Saturday to be available at Accies on Saturday, 5th from 11am for preparatory work to the ground and surrounds.
It's not often that we ask for support from members on this scale but it is vital that everything is shipshape prior to and during match days.
