On-line Player Availability

Membership numbers have grown dramatically over recent months and we have excess numbers at all age groups except, currently, Under 11.

The whole fixture position is under review and there may be plans to put out a second team on a Sunday and we shall also be looking into additional fixtures for the U18 group later in the season

As a result we are introducing an on-line "availability" section to the club website.

The idea is simple: players declare their availability online in advance of every game and captains know whether or not to call (eventually it is our intention that team selections will be published online).

It is hoped that all members desirous of selection for any team from U11s upwards will login and update their availability for any matches they are interested in playing in and also, more importantly, those matches that they know they are unavailable for.

This will help the team captains/managers to plan ahead and try to give everyone a fair chance of selection.

The availability section can be found under "Useful Links" when you log into your account.

Only senior captains/junior team managers will be able to access this information (currently that's Fraser Murray, Tommy Milne, Colin Dawson, Geoff Harding, Corrie Dick, Neil Dowers, Richard Andrew and Farhaj Siddiqui).

Please, please, please make use of this facility as soon as possible

For anyone who doesn't know how to log in, directions are as follows:

  • Vist "Log-in/Create Account"
  • Log in or create your new account - if you created an account in previous years and haven't yet logged in this year, you can use the "Forgotten your Password?" feature to get a new password sent to you by email.
  • Click "Update Player Availability" under "Other Useful Links"
  • Your username needs to be manually associated with your player details.
  • Please email Fraser with your name (or names if you wish to look after more than one) and username to allow this to be done.
  • Mark each game you're likely to be considered for as "available", "unavailable" or "?" if still unsure.
