Summer Cricket Coaching Courses 2021 for P4 to S1

We are pleased to inform you that The Glasgow Academy will be running coaching courses during this Summer break for any young and enthusiastic cricketer.  The courses will be organised and delivered by Mr Vedam Hariharan who is the cricket professional with the Academy during the summer and who also coaches in India and Australia in the winter months.

The courses will take place at The Glasgow Academy sports hall. Several facilities will be used to provide the best possible environment for learning and developing cricket skills and knowledge. This will include our sports hall, which offers four high quality net areas for more intense technical work and the all-weather pitch for game based learning. Covid - 19 guidelines at the time will be followed and adhered to throughout the duration of the courses.

The aim of the courses is to provide an exciting environment to learn, enjoy and develop cricketing skills under expert tuition. Boys and girls from all local schools are also welcomed to attend these courses. Both novice and experienced cricketers will find the courses valuable. All specialist equipment will be provided to use on the courses. The only requirement will be to wear appropriate cricket/leisure clothing and non-marking indoor trainers.

There are ten different courses, so hopefully there will be an opportunity for all those who wish to attend to find courses at suitable times.

• Course 1 – Monday 12^th July – Friday 16^th, 9am – 11am
• Course 2 - Monday 12^th July – Friday 16^th, 11.15am - 1.15pm
• Course 3 – Monday 19^th July – Friday 23^rd, 9am – 11am
• Course 4 - Monday 19^th July – Friday 23^rd, 11.15am - 1.15pm
• Course 5 - Monday 26^th July – Friday 30^th, 9am – 11am
• Course 6 - Monday 26^th July – Friday 30^th, 11.15am - 1.15pm
• Course 7 - Monday 2^nd August - Friday 6^th, 9am - 11am
• Course 8 - Monday 2^nd August - Friday 6^th, 11.15am - 1.15pm
• Course 9 - Monday 9^th August -Friday 13^th, 9am - 11am
• Course 10 - Monday 9^th August - Friday 13^th, 11.15am - 1.15pm
