Third Team Captaincy Election

At the upcoming AGM there will be an election for the third team captaincy between:

Wajid Bashir
Stuart Murray

For simplicity's sake, it has been decided that this vote should be made entirely in advance of the meeting. Only senior members (student/senior sub-payers) who have paid their subscription in full or pay their subscription by Direct Debit will be entitled to vote. You will be entitled to a vote whether you are coming to the dinner or have submitted apologies. Each vote shall be given equal value, with the Chairman's (John McNaught's) vote carrying in the event of a tie.

Your vote should be made by email by 9am on Friday 11th September 2009. In the first instance, submit your vote to Colin Dawson (colindawson17@btinternet.com) who will check your elligibilty and forward valid votes to the Chairman. The Chairman will read out the results on the night.

You may wish to use the following template for your email vote:

"I, <FULL NAME>, hereby submit my vote for Wajid Bashir/Stuart Murray for the 3XI captaincy in 2010."

Each player must submit his own email from his own email account.

In future, votes will be governed by a system allowing voting on the night, which will be agreed upon by the committee before the 2010 AGM.
