Seeing Red - World Cup 2006 Competition

The Rules

• Entry - £1
• The winner will be the person that accumulates the most points from their 8 teams, one from each group.
• Liquid prizes (or suitable alternative for juniors) will be awarded to the top 3 entries. In the event of a tie, the tie-break will be used.
• All scores will be those as verified by the official World Cup website - fifaworldcup.yahoo.com
• Deadline for entries to be received is Friday June 9th 2006.

Scoring

Every time one of your teams plays a World Cup match they score points for each card they receive.

The number of points scored will be the minute that the card was received in:

• Yellow Card: 1 × number of minutes
• Second Yellow Card (for same player): 2 × number of minutes
• Straight Red Card: 3 × number of minutes

For the tie-break, guess what will be the highest number of points accumulated by a team in a single match.
