Match report

Yet another Jekyll and Hyde performance from the Accies' lads.  At 74 for 0 wicket in the 14th over things were going very positively but then the wheels sort of fell off the wagon losing 5 wickets in the final six overs.  It's bad enough just getting bowled by straight balls but when 2 wickets fall for batsmen not grounding their bats or merely coasting a run that's just giving the opposition wickets [and runs].

Then it came to the bowling and Accies donated 51 runs to Prestwick in wides and no-balls compared with their miserly 30 to us.  Simon McAlpine-Scott was the sole wicket taker with a double although somehow he managed to confuse both scorers by taking a fifth over when the maximum permitted is only four! Fortunately neither umpire spotted the oversight.
