Match report
A game for the lads at last! Holidays have struck with a vengeance and a young team took the field against what proved to be a well drilled Greenock outfit.
The Accie youngsters batted first and suffered the customary rash of run outs - three in all which put them on the back foot straight away. Added to these were the five wickets just plain missing straight balls and being castled. Joshi and Baker were the only two Accie lads not to lose their wickets.
Greenock, in reply, gave a masterclass in not losing wickets and running quick singles scoring 81 without loss! A Greenock win by 58 runs.
Iqbal, Joshi, Hammad and Paterson were the pick of the bowlers but generally too many balls were off line - we need to work on target bowling.
