Match report

I thought I would quickly recap over todays match ,west 195-1 ,accies 72-7 although the score sheet dictates a total annihilation of the team, I would differ in saying the lads played extremely well against an outstanding U13s team .

Starting off we had 10 players (Hussain Mohsan no show),the lads had a strong sense after the last game that this was going to be tough, however the boys were fired up knowing anything is possible on the evening .

West won the toss and batted first ,from the score sheet you can see that the first 4 all got 30 and retired ,the lads actually still at this point continued to give their best and to be honest this could be seen clearly from my view anyway although you could see the frequent glances towards the electronic scoreboard .
Nearing the end the lads continue with a last minute gasp to avoid the west getting to the 200 score and when Cameron took the catch on the last bowl of the final over ,you would think they had won the game, but seriously this was exactly what they needed to get themselves up .

The lads fought bravely against a excellent score and that you could tell from they way they batted, trying for every ball to get the runs, totally amazing the actual communication between the wickets ,all the training is starting to pay off ..

Areas of improvement ,our bowling still needs working on ,54 runs given away as no balls and byes .the fielding was much better ,always room for more .

If I picked one player that shined today it would be Cameron Rome ,did very well in wickets and batting.
