Match report

Ayr batting first were quickly reduced to 7 for 3 by Chris Rae and Simran Singh. However Craig and the rest of the Ayr middle order proved obdurate putting on 82 runs for the next two wickets.  A final total of 115 was respectable in the circumstances.

After the relatively early loss of Mark Forbes Cammy Russell and Euan Ramsay steadied the ship with a decent stand before Cammy fell victim to Johnston.  Usman Irfan then played his usual quickfire innings but the star of the show was Euan Ramsay who saw the side home with probably his highest score of 39 not out.

Ayr was not a happy team at the end.
