Match report

It is the end of a long and very soggy season. Prestwick sent up a full strength side to play against pretty much an U13 Accies team.  Scott Clelland took full toll of short pitched leg side bowling and seemingly scored his 58 runs from only 24 balls.  Three run outs did help Accies' cause though.  120 for 4 from 16 overs with Ethan taking the only bowler's wicket.

Basically the second innings was self preservation albeit with a daft run out of Andy Robinson early doors.  Sadly the long grass defeated our lads' attempts to score any runs and Prestwick's bowling was spot on throughout.

In spite of several heavy losses during the shortened season team spirit remained high which is a credit to the players. It will be a much more experienced team next year…if it ever stops raining!  Hussain Mohsan must remember to turn up for matches though.
