Match report

We got our own back on East renfrewshire/renfrew after the defeat they had inflicted on us a few weeks ago. Losing the toss, we were put into bat and did pretty well on the artificial scoring 119 in our 20 overs. Ethan was again solid for us and Hussein, Jack and Hamza chipped in to push us along to that total.

Bowling wise, Hamza Gardee got a deserved 5-12 with the rest contributing with some solid overs interspersed with some loose deliveries which were duly punished. We have to be tighter in the field and also bowl to the field set, otherwise we will continue to leak silly runs. Both Jack and Lewis kept for us today and both show signs of improving weekly, in a very difficult art. More practice is needed in the nets, and it is essential that we bowl line and length if we are to compete in the next half of the season with a few tricky fixtures to come.
