Match report

Another Win by Alps making it 4 out of 6.

Alps won the toss and invited Whiteinch to bat. Whiteinch in the customary manner came out with all guns blazing. Ham mange to tame them and quickly disposed of Yassar in the third over of the match and continued to bowl line-and-length as usual.

Sabir and Adnan started to pile up the runs and before Alps can take stock of their bowling they had piled up 70 runs by the 12th over. At this point it seemed that Whiteinch would end up with a very high score.

Nik Stone (6 wickets for 15 runs), however, have other ideas started to rattle the Whiteinch's batting order and diposed one batsman after another, helped by again excellent fielding by the Alps and brilliant catches by David and Raj.

Haydn came in to finish the tail end and as usaul did his job well. Whiteinch were bowled out in the 26th over for 99 runs.

Alps came into bat feeling very confident, however, this did not last for long. Captain Farhaj became a victim of unpredictable pitch and was caught behind in the 3rd over.

Raj and George then took over and batted well, Raj determined to make up for the disappointment in the last match batted superbly.

George was caught behind in the 13th over, but Sats and Raj continued to bat superbly and completed the Alps victory in the 20th over, scoring 26 and 54 not out respectively.
