Glasgow Accies Midweek XI v Clydesdale (23/07/09) scorecard

Accies played this match under the threat of rain but thanks to God the match is completed. Accies won the match despite a collapse of 5 wickets in 9 runs after Raj & Nirvik gave us a brilliant start. It looks completely lost match after Dougie got out & Clydesdale sense a win which they almost took from our jaws but our big hitter Crawford have some other ideas. He counter attacked the same bowler who was looking unplayable to other batsmen. When Raj & Nirvik was in the middle I thought the match will be over in 13th over bcoz the way Nirvik competing Raj in scoring it was amazing to watch. We will miss Nasty bcoz this was his last midweek game of this season. Best of luck.

                                                                                                                                 Before that once again our bowlers did the job to restrict the opposition at 6 runs per over well supported by some brilliant fielding specially by Sumeet. Ian gave us the early breakthroughs we want & well supported by Scott from other end who was unplayable today. Dougie done a fantastic job & Myles getting better & better in T-20 matches. He is a perfect depth bowler who didn't gave away easy runs & always a wicket taker.
