Match report

Acies midweek XI hosted BBC at New Anniesland on a lovely warm evening. After winning the toss Ronnie decided to bat first but lost our inform opener Dave on first ball caught by Afridi who was one of the substitute fielder helping BBC because they were 3 players short. Mark came in & continued his brilliant form with the bat & equally supported by Cammy, both took their team to 96/3 in 16.4 overs. Change in the batting order brings Mylo who blasted a quick 25* from 11 balls. Accies finished on 143/3 in 20 overs.

                                                                             BBC lost their opener early but maintained a good run rate & always looks to achieve target with a brilliant knock from Mellis before Mylo & Cammy bowled a tight spell with a wicket a piece & sensational bowling from Mark who registered his first hat trick for the club & finished with figures of 1.4-0-10-4. Visitors fell short of 32 runs. Well played boys & thanks to BBC for a good game, always a nice team to play against.
