Match report

A full strength Accies side made its way west on the M8 to Greenock on a lovely sunny evening. A perfect setting for cricket awaited and the boys were hyped and ready for action. Imagine our disappointment then arriving at Greenock CC and finding no opposition to play! Apparently "someone" had contacted "someone else" and wires had been crossed. Two points to the Accies already on the WDJC website and ten disappointed cricketers and their accompanying coaches/parents. 

With their usual never-say-die attitude, the U11's decided to go back to the Accies and have a practice match instead. We will endeavour to ensure a debacle like this doesn't happen again so apologies to all the disappointed - but hey, at least there's next week.
