Match report

On a perfect summer's evening at New Cambusdoon the result of this match was in the balance until Ayr's second pairing of Jefferson and Pandhari put on 42 runs fom which point the Ayr youngsters didn't really need to score any runs - all they needed to do was preserve their wickets and this they did with only 9 further runs being scored from the last eight overs of their innings without loss.
