Match report

Another competent performance by the Ferguslie lads who win the league at this age group by a country mile! Pre-match talk - don't lose wickets, don't bowl wides as that will be the only chance of giving the Ferguslie lads a fright!  Sadly neither was achieved.

A total of 12 wickets lost costing 60 runs and 24 wides bowled.  On the positive side this has been an inexperienced team on the whole and many of them will still be eligible to play at this level next year. Max Cull again showed real pace and is a prospect for taking wickets at U13 level next season.

The final match will be on Friday down at Helensburgh and then it will be indoor training sessions throughout the close season in the TGA Sports Hall starting on Sunday, 18 September.  Emphasis will be directed towards bowling actions and using a straight bat either in defence or in attack.  Jameel Gardee will send out details in the near future.

The final report will be submitted following Friday's match.
