Match report

A strong all-round young Greenock team batted fluently on a typical Accies' grass pitch and then strangled our youngsters with a competent bowling attack.  Mark Forbes was the only player to pass 2 runs finally falling on his own sword by running himself out for 18 having batted for for 15 overs.  Unfortunately in the process he ran out two of his own team mates in the process.

He slightly made up for this in Greenock's innings with two "direct hit" run outs but overall it seemed that the holiday weekend had taken its toll on the Accies' lads although Lyle Robertson looked alert in the field.  Not much to write about.
