Match report

On a gloomy evening we put Poloc into bat and watched them amass a score of 99. Our Bowling was workmanlike, and again we bowled too many wides and we witnessed Cameron Rome who in his view is not a bowler,strike to remove their best batter with his first ball!

Our turn to bat proved to be a sorry affair initially with our top order being dismissed very cheaply and very early. However a splendid knock by Tom MCewan put us back into the game, and power hitting by Adam Woolfson at the death gave us a sniff, but we were left to rue the early lost wickets as we lost by 8 runs with 1.4 overs to spare. All credit to the lads for putting up a fight, but lots of lessons to be learned.
