Match report

Drumps arrived with 9 good men and true but Accies again had a full 11. Accies won the toss and elected to bat first on the artificial pitch.  The lads however found it difficult to miss the nine Drumpellier fielders with only Satpute [26] and Mohsan [16] managing to score at more that a run a ball faced.  Unfortunate JOliver was suicidally run out by his skipper just when he was set.  A total of 90 from the allotted 20 overs proved in the end to be about 20 runs short of par.

An early wicket of Adul Sabri was a bonus hitting Habib Safi straight to the waiting Forbes at square leg but Pyne and Allison upped the rate to 5 an over before both were quickly out to David Gibson's bowling. Another couple of wickets failed to curb the scoring rate although mainly through byes and a rash of wides. Sabri Jnr and Muir then knocked off the remaining runs in gun time.

The team has not scored over 100 since early June and really 110 to 120 has to be the par score to aim at. Onwards and upwards though as the lads have five matches over the next couple of weeks.  Ability is there but they just have to score more runs with less dot balls.
