Match report

Poor shot selection and failure to note where fielders had been placed meant six Accie wickets had fallen for 50 runs in only 11 overs.  Thank goodness for some sensible batting from young Ruairidh Russell who came in to partner his brother Cammy making a disastrous batting performance slightly more respectable with an unbroken 46 run partnership in the remaining 9 overs.

All their careful work however was undone as Poloc raced to 24 after only two overs.  Two wild balls resulted in 5 wides apiece plus a plethora of short or wide pitched balls then cemented Poloc's win.

The lads will have to rethink their performances if they are to give the XL Club any kind of opposition on Wednesday [12pm start].
