Match report

A stronger opposition this time around but yet another superb batting performance set up a good win for the lads.

Leading the way…yet again… was young John Oliver [48] falling 2 short of his half ton attempting to sneak a run in the final over of the innings..what a shame because he deserved this elusive milestone. John was ably backed up by Ewan Stewart [42no] and Dhruv Satpute [35].

133 was a good total but the job was only half done.

Sajjid and Mullen put up stern resistance for Renfrew and, indeed, they were well ahead of the run rate with a mixture of good cricket shots and some streaky boundaries.  Accies all-pace attack eventually proved its worth with both batsmen falling to good catches.  Dhruv cunningly held himself and Cammy Russell back until later in the innings and Dhruv helped himself to a five wicket haul. On the whole the fielding was lively and although a couple of catches went down five others were taken.

A good day at the office!
