Match report

This turned out to be a one-man show with Prestwick's young South African amateur scoring 120 out of the first 167 runs on the board.  On his departure matters returned to some sense of normality.  Having said that I have not seen so many full tosses offered and gratefully accepted with despatches of the ball to the boundary.  This guy reminded me many years ago of a mixture of West of Scotland's young Aussie amateur, Jason Arnberger, and East Kilbride's professional, Asif Mujtaba, with fierce hitting combined with ball counting and taking singles off the last ball of each over.

Granted the Prestwick lads had other decent players in the team but they were given minimal opportunity to score.

In reply Fehzan Irfan launched the first two balls for boundaries but then promptly gave a simple catch. After Kerr Moir was out cheaply Ben Mazzucco was the only person capable of doing any appreciable damage but then fell to a good yorker. 

After that Accies shut up shop as the temperature dropped to being somewhat chilly.
