Match report

This match had it all!  5 minute break for rain then gloom, dark clouds and thunder and lightning in the distance. Safi "2 for" including a double wicket maiden and two catches in the outfield; C Russell with 2 wickets in his final over and JOliver's double and steady as usual.  The boys did well to restrict Ayr to 107 even with 19 off one over [-w4446-] from Usman Irfan!

Irfan and Mohsan departed early in Accies' innings leaving Oliver [38] and Russell [36no] to get them "back in the game".  Still needing 21 from the last over and Russell on strike improbable thoughts of victory became possible as the over went w44-22,2b, a total of 15 leaving our lads just 5 runs short at the end.

Considering that everyone in this team still qualifies for next year's team this was a good effort.
