Match report

At the fourth attempt the U11's finally managed to take the field on a very pleasant evening at Shawholm.  The Poloc youngsters won the toss and inserted Accies' youngsters and then wished that they hadn't!  Animesh Mishra was the only batsman to fall foul of the Poloc bowlers - plumb lbw!  All the Accies youngsters contributed to a very healthy total of 97 for 1

After a cautious start by the Poloc lads "Master Wides" and "Master No-Balls" once again began to make significant contributions to the Poloc total bringing their lads within striking distance of the winners' post but Lewis Gilkison and Euan Ramsay with three late wickets between them put paid to Poloc's aspirations.

A well merited victory for our lads who showed a certain amount of promise for more victories in matches to come.  They need to concentrate on bowling straight though cutting out the future threat of "Master Wides".
