Senior Teams
Glasgow Accies field two competitive Saturday sides every week.
The 1st XI aims to climb as high as possible within the Western District Cricket Union, with the 2nd XI playing fixtures further down the leagues.
With a view to junior development, the club fields a Development XI playing an increasing number of friendly matches on Sunday afternoons.
For those members who can't spare time at the weekend, the club runs a Midweek XI, which takes advantage of the long hours of light in the summer, playing 20-over matches on Tuesday/Thursday evenings.
Junior Teams
Age group is calculated as of 1 September the previous year. For example, someone 17 years old on 1st September 2021 will be an U18 for the 2012 season.
The Junior Section of the club runs 4 sides (U16, U14 and two U12), all of which compete weekly in the summer, along with irregular fixtures for other age groups.
The U16 and U12 (hard ball) teams both play on Monday evenings, and for this season, the U12 hard ball team will be a combined side with West of Scotland. The U14 and U12 (soft ball) teams play on Friday evenings.
The Junior Section is very successful and has produced many players who represent the West District and Scotland at junior levers and even some full Scottish Internationals.
All members are requested to wear cricket whites for any match, although younger juniors can get away with slightly more mix-and-match kit.
